Home » Compare Comparing Text United Translation Software and Kaplan Desktop Which software is better? Here is a rundown of features and reviews to help you make your decision. | | | Name | Text United Translation Software | Kaplan Desktop | Review breakdown | | | Most helpful review | Excellent online tool with a good team I am using this tool since 2009 on a daily basis. The big advantage is that you are working in real time with your client or the project manager. The tool is free to use for the translator. It is also very intuitive and I have never lost data. The tags are extremely easy to implement. You can also use the tool offline, of course. I highly recommend it for building a long term relationship (yes!) with a client. Once the system is running, it is a breeze to use.

Years of working with translation led us to design Text United: a proven, industry-standard suite of tools for professionals and beginners. Today, in response to a growing demand, we’re taking translation to another level and introducing the first-ever translation process that brings your business directly to international customers.
We have built a first-of-its-kind translation platform, equipped with every tool a translator and his client may need, without the hassle of complex, agency-based workflows.
Our customers invite each other to the platform, take advantage of free services and have a strong sense of control over the translation of their content.
We take businesses abroad through a different approach to translation. Text United is powered by a cloud-based translation memory technology, which prevents translators from translating a sentence twice, gets workflows out of the way and focuses on what really matters: quality, controlled, international content. | Free and open source CAT tool for linguists.
